Role - Actor
During post-production my requirements as an actor were quite limited, as the only thing that I had to do was ADR.
During the first week of post production, I had a look at some of the final edit of the film and it was evident that I would need to do ADR for the park scene, as it was very quiet. In addition to the director noticing this, she scheduled a suitable date and time for me to record some of my lines again for the following week.
I made sure straight away to notify my producer when I would be available to do this, in order to get it planned promptly.
The following week I went to the recording studios to record my dialogue again.
As an actor I had no problem getting straight into character as soon as the playback began, and for the most part I was notified by the director and producer that my first takes were the best ones.
During this, I tried doing my voice over in several different styles whilst keeping it true to how I originally said it; giving the director and producer a variety.
Overall, the post production process went smoothly for me, and as an actor I proved to myself that I was able to maintain a characters persona even after the production schedule.
